Chapter 1: The Ghost Behind the Door
(Ringing)
-Hey guys go out with me
Vu’s voice rose. I asked.
-what are you playing?
-playing Ouija in the cemetery
I am very shy and afraid of ghosts, so I froze.
-Are you guys going out?
The one who is safe, peaceful, and happy all say yes.
I also unconsciously said yes.
-let’s go at 9:30
When I got home from school, I was both scared and excited. The cemetery where I live is very far away. It’s at the end of the village. Around 9:20, I asked my parents to let me go to my friend’s house for extra classes. My parents agreed. I jumped on the motorbike and drove away.
On the road full of houses, my house was at the beginning of the village. At the end of the village. Both sides were full of bamboo bushes. Hearing its call made me sweat. I ran like crazy. It felt like someone was following me.
Finally I arrived at the cemetery. I saw Vu’s group had arrived. Vu was also holding a Ouija board. The cemetery where I live is divided into 2 parts. 1 part is full of graves. The other part is a row of houses. In front of the house there is a stone table and a well. Vu went to the stone table. He took out two candles and lit them towards the house and the tombstone.
Everyone sat down. They looked excited but I wasn’t. I was scared as hell. They put their hands on the planchette. I did too. Vu muttered something. The planchette started to move. I turned pale, then pulled my hand back. Vu sarcastically said.
-You are afraid of that.
-It moves, I’m not afraid.
-Someone must be moving.
They withdrew their hands.
-we’re leaving
But seeing me still in tears, they realized something was wrong. Looking back, they saw the Ouija board moving by itself into letters.
DIE.
everyone was scared. pale. about to run away.
The two flames…gradually turned blue.then went out.
Copy…copy…copy…copy.
Strange noises came from the well…then disappeared.
Knock…knock…knock
Knocking sound came from inside the house…we all passed out.Woke up on the bus.
-Where is this? Vu asked.
Everyone was silent. No one said anything. Finally, the car stopped in front of the villa gate.
Everyone got out of the car…
