Chapter 26. The Sieges on the Last Day of the Year – The First Battle
In the morning, I went up to the 4th floor (called the attic) and opened the door to the drying yard to do some exercises to stretch my muscles and bones. It was the last day of the year and it was chilly so I only wore shorts and a long-sleeved T-shirt. While I was stretching, I heard the sound of Ms. Ha’s door opening. I looked over and saw that she was also out exercising so I nodded politely. A moment later, I heard her call:
Thang, can you help me with this?
– What? I looked over to your terrace.
– I want to move this potted plant to this location but it is too heavy.
So I’ll jump in to help; more details about the separation between the two houses: the open terraces of the two houses are built with brick walls about 80cm high; the part between the two houses is only about 40-50cm; as for the facade, each house has its own arrangement depending on the decoration with raised plaster and carved panels…!
While bending down with her to roll the flower pot, I realized… she wasn’t wearing a bra, so even though I didn’t want her two breasts to hit my eyes, I still felt like they were… quite comfortable; and after rolling the flower pot into position, she bent down to pat the ground, so her butt was sticking up and I saw… no trace of her panties; so this sister… was completely naked at home… and suddenly my little brother… saluted while I wasn’t wearing underwear either, so my pants also rode up.
– Give me that fly, kid!
I picked up the trowel and walked up behind her.
Here you go.
She reached out to get it but unfortunately grabbed my little brother which made me numb. After grabbing and jerking it, she realized it wasn’t flying so she turned back to look at me but her hand was still… holding it.
Both sisters were shocked for a few seconds.
She took her hand away; her face was red.
I pushed the trowel into her hand.
– What else can I do? Let me go home.
– No…thanks…thanks, baby; she stuttered.
I jumped over the wall and still heard people clicking their tongues (probably a pity because the goods were so…huge)!
Since then I often pay attention to Ms. Ha.
….
Going to have breakfast, I met Ms. Thuy and Mr. Dung again so I got free breakfast. Seeing Ms. Thuy smiling and talking happily with her husband and children, I felt a bit jealous.
How was it yesterday, uncle?
– The afternoon was normal, enough to sleep until evening. Last night was just tiring!
– Will you come again tonight?
– Tonight the whole family went to grandpa’s house for dinner; met Miss Trinh’s friend coming over so… after checking her qualifications… she had to take her home in a… drunken state. Miss Thuy explained.
– Oh, so you got knocked out by your future brother-in-law? I teased.
– Trinh’s two high school best friends; no idea which one is her lover or who is flirting with her; but they both drank really well; they went home and lay down; they just woke up this morning. Thuy’s voice again
After eating, while Uncle Quang was driving his motorbike down the street, I asked Ms. Thuy quietly:
– Oh, so…no business?
Ms. Thuy shook her head slightly; I continued asking:
– So should we collect all at once or…a little bit?
– Devil; can’t go anywhere now.
– What’s up?
– My grandparents came over for lunch today; they probably won’t be back until this evening.
– So…can I come up tonight?
– Let’s see; he’s urging.
– Come on; it’s the end of the year.
Uncle Quang honked the car horn so Ms. Thuy had to get out; when Ms. Thuy was safely in the car, Uncle Quang said:
– This aunt and niece talk a lot, huh? Let me have lunch yesterday; no need to cook.
– No, uncle; I still have things my aunt bought and I also plan to go play with some friends.
– Don’t be so absorbed in games; eat carefully; I’ll check this evening. Ms. Thuy threatened to also make the program public so that Mr. Quang would know.
I also pretended to stick out my tongue, grimaced as if I was scared, then jumped on my bike and drove away.
On the way home, I stopped at Trung’s alley. Just as I turned in, I saw him rushing out. When we met, he shouted:
– Mei, so you came down here. I just called you but no one answered. I was going to rush up to see if you were awake yet?
– Wake up L, your dad just came back from breakfast; also wanted to come in to see him, he just had a beer and then passed out, did he have to wash the blanket???
– L, I just woke up, I haven’t eaten yet; I forgot to tell you last night; Tung said that this afternoon, some people will gather at his house to cook New Year’s Eve dinner; there will be a few girls too.
– Mei, at such a young age you also want everything; when and who?
– I met him yesterday afternoon, he said so; his family was away and he asked his grandparents ; me, you, him, Truong (4 boys whose names all start with the letter T, which is cool) and Phuong, Thu, Thuong, Minh, Lan too… (our group of close friends has 9 people, of which Truong, Minh, Lan are in different classes; our houses are 5-7km apart the farthest; in the past, cycling to school, going out about 15km was no problem, unlike young people today, who can jump on a motorbike, electric car, taxi)
– Mei, is there no program before?
– He told me to call you but it didn’t work.
So I must have been sleeping then, I slept until mid-afternoon; I thought to myself.
How to cook; what the hell to eat?
– I don’t know, maybe the girls went to the market to cook…
At first, I intended to turn around and follow Trung, but somehow the image of Ms. Huyen appeared in my head with the promise “I’ll come over tomorrow afternoon”; then there was Ms. Nga, Ms. Thuy, Ms. Thoa… the images of those women flashed through my head one by one; several new options immediately came to mind:
– Look, I didn’t tell you in advance so I have to hurry home to clean the house because my aunts will come up to clean later, I still have to open the door; now to contribute, can you bring 50k down for me so they can go to the market?
Trung was nervous to receive the money from me because back then, a bowl of pho was about 5-7k, 10k was a special bowl; street food was only 3-4k/portion; 50k was quite big (because I remember in 2002 when I was in university, I poured 5k of gas into my cup 82… comfortably, eating street food in Hanoi for 4k was a good portion); he carefully asked me again:
Socks?
– Then support them all so they can go shopping comfortably; it’s not often, at the end of the year…
– Oh, well, I…forgot to tell you; Tung and my friends planned to contribute 10k each because…Tung’s house already has the facility, just buy it for cooking…tsk! Why the hell…is it so expensive lately.
– The old man left me money for food for a few days; you girls just go to the market for me but don’t take any money; just go down and call me when it’s almost time to eat; 15 minutes early, it’s almost 2km from my house…
…
Saying goodbye to my friend, I looked at my wristwatch and saw that it was already past 8am, so I decided to cycle home. Just as I stopped the bike and opened the gate, I heard a shout from behind:
– Ah, ah Thang, ah Thang.
Turning back, it turned out that Thoa’s little boy was sitting on the back of her motorbike, calling out to her. She had just arrived.
– Hey, where are you two going?
– Just had breakfast and then Bao went to the unit on duty. He kept asking to come here to borrow your story to read.
– There are plenty of stories, come in and I’ll get them for you; just remember not to tear mine.
(At that time, I was one of the guys who saved all the TKKG, Doreamon, Hezman, Dragon Ball, Tepi, Subasa series… those of the 8X generation probably still remember)
After Ms. Thoa drove the bike into the yard, I carefully locked the gate and then turned back to unlock the house. Seeing my action of locking the gate, I noticed that Ms. Thoa’s cheeks were slightly red.
Entering the living room, there were still a few books on the sofa that I hadn’t had time to clean up yet, so my little brother grabbed them right away. He said he had read one book and was still reading the other, so I told him to sit down here and be good, Mom and I would go find the next volumes for him.
Turned around to look… didn’t see Ms. Thoa anywhere; so she had… gone upstairs by herself; what were we waiting for???
I ran up to the third floor, saw that the light in my bathroom was on, so I went straight into the room, left the door ajar, and knocked on the bathroom door to signal. A moment later, Ms. Thoa…wrapped in a towel, came out. I looked at her, unable to hide my smile, and teased:
– Oh, why are you so proactive today?
– Still asking, seeing the gate locked, people already knew what she meant; she moved closer to me, actively reaching out to hug me and find my lips; the towel fell out…
But I’m not an easy person; I squeezed her gently and said:
– Wait a minute, please (my eyes turned to the bed) I’ll find some books for Ngoc.
I brought down some books for him, and carefully turned on the computer so he could play them whenever he wanted. I’ll go clean the room and ask your mom to help…
Kids…just that.
…
Thoa and I entered the battle, very affectionately but skipped the tevet step; when I put the cannon barrel inside, I felt like everything was already open, waiting. And then, bang! Because the door was half-closed, I didn’t dare to be too rough, but it seemed like Thoa was really looking forward to it, so in every position, she actively supported me by leaning up and thrusting to my rhythm; although not rough, the room still echoed with the sounds of squishing… squeezing… slapping… slapping, interspersed with Thoa’s very restrained moans.
I changed position so that Thoa was sitting on top; somehow I had only been able to push up from below a few times, my hand holding her butt to prepare to follow her movements when suddenly she stiffened, her mouth quickly said:
– Squeeze your nipples tight…
A bit surprised but I reacted quickly, one hand squeezed my butt tightly, the other hand squeezed my nipple hard and my lower body bounced up a few times.
Thoa had to restrain herself from screaming, just gritted her teeth and endured, then after a while slowly lowered her body and covered her face with her chest…
– Why did you go up the mountain so early today? I teased.
– Because from yesterday until now it’s been…intermittent.
– What do you mean? I felt strange so I asked while she was still lying on me.
– I don’t know where Mr. Bao got the alcohol from; after cleaning up, he… ushered people out; felt better than usual but kept… resting, told to take a break so… didn’t reach the destination.
– I see; how many times?
– 3, 4 times but every few minutes I rest, then sleep near morning; when I wake up I do it again but it comes right away, I don’t have time to feel it… Ms. Thoa explained!
– So was it good just now?
– I like it; Ms. Thoa raised her face, her face flushed and full of vitality.
– Why do you like it? Who made you like it? I still haven’t let go.
– Thang did.
– Doing what?
– Fuck…fuck Thoa, Thoa likes…it…!
I hadn’t come out yet, so I shook it a few more times and then lay still to see what Ms. Thoa thought; after a while, she said:
– I owe you; the kid is downstairs now…and I was also planning to go to the department store to buy a few more things.
I nodded slightly because I knew… I should save my strength; she got off me and went to wash up, I followed; she carefully washed my little brother and even bent down to kiss him lightly before I went out.
Gave the boy a few books with instructions to take care of them, and will come over tomorrow morning to bring him more volumes; Ms. Thoa started the motorbike and drove away with the rosy cheeks of someone who had just satisfied her sexual desire; I closed the gate and entered the house; looked at the clock, it was a little past 9am; Mom, skipped looking for books, gave instructions… quickly finished early, but it was still almost 30 minutes including washing up after.
….
I went back to clean up the crime scene. I don’t know why, but lately my constant thought is that I have to… leave no trace. I just have to wash the sheets and towels; luckily the house has them…
I went down to the first floor again with the mentality of… waiting for news from Ms. Huyen; suddenly the phone rang; it turned out that Trung was calling from Tung’s house to confirm that… I spent all 50k, and the program was that Tung’s house already had chicken that his parents bought for him, so now the money from everyone would be used to make a hot pot for him… luxurious; meow, making me angry and saying… if I owe you, I’ll make up for it, so feel free to spend (at least my capital at that time still had a few hundred left, this amount of money at that time was quite… large), he laughed and hung up.
