Every time we ride in my girlfriend’s car, I notice that her lights are very dim. Finally, about six months into the relationship, I ask:

Me: “Why do you have your lights so dim?”

Girlfriend: “When my battery died and I had to replace it, they stayed that way.”

I then proceeded to turn the console light dimmer knob. The look on her face made me feel like I was performing magic.
